Purpose of the Job
The Vehicle Monitoring Coordinator supports daily operational efficiency by monitoring vehicle activity, managing incidents and faults, and ensuring accurate communication and reporting. The role ensures compliance with procedures and health and safety standards while minimizing vehicle downtime to support effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Monitoring & Incident Management

Monitor vehicle activity according to company procedures

Identify, record, and promptly report deviations and exceptions

Acknowledge and address all alarms within the required timeframes

Respond to incidents and accidents professionally, following protocol
Communication & Reporting

Request or receive daily route sheets from the relevant business units
-
Record all operational and vehicle performance data accurately

Compile and distribute operational reports on time to stakeholders
-
Log and report all occurrences and unusual events
Fault Management & Vehicle Repairs

Update vehicle faults daily in the system or logs

Communicate all faults to relevant departments or personnel
-
Follow up to ensure timely and effective vehicle repairs
Operational Support

Assist with general operational tasks as required

Maintain professional conduct in all interactions with staff, customers, and external parties

Adhere to company dress code and grooming standards
Housekeeping, Health & Safety

Maintain a clean and orderly work area daily

Comply with all Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric)
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
