About the Role
Tsebo is seeking a Storekeeper to manage the receipt, control, and issuing of all stock items (food, beverages, resale, and chemicals), ensuring accurate stock levels, adherence to quality standards, and efficient store operations in accordance with Fedics policies.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and verify all stock deliveries as per policy

Order food, resale, and beverage items in line with operational needs

Issue stock according to required portion sizes and specifications

Accurately cost meals, stock, and functions daily

Process invoices using My Market system

Conduct weekly stock takes
-
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in store areas, fridges, and freezers
-
Ensure all items are date-marked and stored properly
-
Manage stock availability and report shortages
-
Monitor and reduce wastage and leftovers
-
Ensure proper handovers and communication across shifts
-
Build positive supplier and client relationships
-
Safeguard all products and equipment in the store

Report product quality issues and handle client feedback professionally

Support other units and carry out management requests as needed

Ensure stock rotation and compliance with store times
Required Qualifications and Experience
-
Education: Matric (Grade 12)

Experience:
-
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in stock control/storekeeping
-
Experience with the My Market system (advantageous)

Previous healthcare industry experience (advantageous)

Proven costing and stock control knowledge preferred
