Purpose of the Role
To design, deliver, and manage training and development solutions that address client and stakeholder knowledge needs, aligned with departmental objectives and SABS’ broader organisational strategy.

Minimum Requirements
Education:

Grade 12

National Diploma / Advanced Certificate (NQF Level 6) in:

Quality
-
Environmental
-
Occupational Health & Safety
-
Food
-
Technical Training
-
Or related sector-specific fields
-
Experience:
-
Minimum of 3 years in:
-
Training delivery
-
Lead auditing
-
Learning and development solution design
-

Relevant professional registrations or recognitions required
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Facilitation & Development
-
Deliver training in standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000, SANS 10331, SANS 10049
-
Use diverse methodologies (case studies, visual media, role plays, etc.)
-
Provide post-training support (e.g., POE compilation assistance)
-
Develop or update course material in line with new standards or market needs
-
Align training material with SAATCA, SAQA, and SETA requirements
2. Quality & Compliance
-
Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls, ISO, and legal frameworks
-
Adhere to governance, risk management, and fraud control standards
3. Stakeholder Engagement
-
Maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
-
Handle training-related queries and ensure customer satisfaction
-
Participate in task teams and committees as required
