Job Purpose
To perform general warehouse duties including stock control, binning, picking, packing, moving stock, and maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
Binning & Stock Replenishment
-
Bin incoming stock and move items from bulk to pick locations
-
Allocate new products to correct bin locations
-
Ensure bin locations are correctly updated
-
Support with stock replenishment and incoming goods checks
Picking & Packing
-
Pick customer and branch orders accurately and on time
-
Avoid breaking pack sizes unless necessary
-
Ensure all orders are double-checked to minimize errors and losses
Warehouse Support
-
Maintain daily housekeeping in the warehouse
-
Follow all standard operating procedures and supervisor instructions
-
Participate in stock take and inventory checks
-
Help achieve operational targets consistently
Scanner Control
-
Issue and log scanners daily
-
Check for damage and return scanners to stock system
-
Maintain accurate scanner logs and report issues
Qualifications & Experience
-
Education: Grade 12 (or Literacy/Numeracy equivalent)

Experience:
-
3+ years in a warehouse/logistics environment (advantageous)
-
Knowledge of spares, motor, and engine parts
-
Familiar with warehouse systems and procedures
-

Must be physically fit and able to lift items from 1kg to 30kg
