About Clicks Group
Clicks is seeking a highly organized and hands-on DC Clerk for the Macops department to maintain all Distribution Center (DC) functions efficiently and professionally.
Job Objectives

Monitor, track, and control daily departmental processes to meet productivity and performance standards.

Ensure adherence to daily and weekly schedules and deadlines.

Communicate and implement changes as directed.
-
Ensure Health & Safety and Security compliance per company policy.
-
Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring warehouse activities, cycle counts, stock takes, and investigating discrepancies.
-
Provide leadership by setting clear expectations and promoting high standards of work and safety practices.

Perform administrative duties to ensure KPI targets are met and reports (e.g., SA001, SOH investigations) are updated and resolved promptly.

Efficiently utilize all resources.

Train and monitor staff in SOPs and safe work practices, including new employee inductions.

Monitor warehouse performance using KPIs with focus on cost control and productivity.

Capture invoices and hand over to Accounts Payable within 48 hours of stock receipt.

Identify and implement initiatives to continuously improve productivity.

Coordinate with Merchandise, suppliers, and stores to ensure smooth merchandise flow.
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge:
-
Understanding of logistics environment.
Skills:
-
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite).
-
Strong verbal and written communication.

Basic numeric skills.
-
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Experience:
-
Minimum 1 year administration experience.
-
Minimum 1 year experience in distribution/logistics.
-
Desirable: experience with customer relations, suppliers, and warehouse management systems.
Education:
-
Matric (Grade 12) essential.
