Overview

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa is offering a business opportunity for three qualified and business-minded drivers to independently contract with the company as Owner Drivers, operating from their Polokwane site.

Key Purpose

To deliver the company’s products in line with contractual obligations and company standards, while adhering to business ethics and values.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Competently manage all aspects of truck driving
Demonstrate operational driving skills (K53 compliant)
Understand vehicle maintenance requirements
Maintain a clean safety record
Ensure safety and protection of crew

Maturity to manage financial pressures
Build strong relationships with customers and service providers
Effective self-management and time management
Understanding of efficient operating methods
Awareness of competitive business environments

Skills, Experience & Education Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric)
Valid Code 14 driver’s licence
Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
3–5 years’ heavy vehicle and trailer driving experience
Must be a South African citizen
Must reside in the Polokwane area
Entrepreneurial ability
Basic business knowledge: income, expenses, profit, asset management
Good interpersonal skills
Proficiency in English and a local/regional language
Knowledge of Road Traffic Act and accident procedures
