Position Overview:
Eduvos is seeking a qualified and experienced Academic Programme Manager to lead and manage the design, delivery, and quality of academic programmes within the Faculty of Humanities, across multiple campuses nationwide. This is a leadership role with strategic, academic, and operational responsibilities, and is ideally suited to an education professional with deep subject matter expertise and experience in curriculum development and team management.
Purpose of the Role:
To ensure high-quality delivery and academic integrity of qualifications in the Faculty of Humanities by leading programme design, academic planning, faculty collaboration, and compliance with academic standards and regulatory frameworks.
Minimum Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Education (MEd or Educational Psychology)

Undergraduate qualification in Education is compulsory
-
5+ years' experience in an academic role post-qualification
-
3+ years' management experience (or strong managerial potential)

Proven experience in curriculum development, including assessments

Preferably has worked in matrix management environments or managed cross-campus academic projects

Subject expertise in Education (undergraduate) and Psychology (any level)
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Operations & Programme Management:
-
Lead the design and delivery of programmes within the Faculty of Humanities
-
Ensure programme compliance with regulatory frameworks (CHE, SAQA, HPCSA, DBE)
-
Oversee and implement curriculum development, assessment design, and quality assurance
-
Coordinate delivery of programmes across multiple campuses
Strategic & Financial Oversight:
-
Translate faculty strategies into operational plans and objectives
-
Provide sales enablement support through product training and academic guidance
-
Manage faculty programme resourcing (staffing, tools, materials)
-
Drive process efficiency and compliance through effective academic governance
Leadership & People Management:
-
Support faculty direction, strategy, and talent development
-
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and team training
-
Monitor and manage individual performance and promote a positive academic culture

Contribute to building the faculty’s change capability and climate of innovation
Stakeholder Engagement:
-
Collaborate across academic and operational silos to align faculty outputs
-
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including professional bodies and regulatory authorities

Support issue resolution and escalations regarding programme design and delivery
