Purpose of the Job:
To manage the Checkers Little Me store ensuring operational, administrative, and managerial duties are met while maintaining the brand image. Manage stock, staff, security, and maximise store profitability. Minimise shrinkage and wastage, maintain replenishment for excellent shelf availability, execute pricing and promotions, and coordinate stock takes.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage stock and maintain stock ledger accuracy

Continuously train and develop employees

Plan and execute in-store promotions

Manage store security measures

Meet and exceed customer expectations

Coordinate stock takes with Regional Manager
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Essential: Grade 12 (Matric)
-
Advantageous: Degree or Diploma in related field

Minimum 1 year management experience in a baby shop

Experience managing inventory, buying, staff, merchandising, costs, and profitability in a baby shop
Knowledge & Skills:

Baby product industry knowledge (nutrition, toys)

Excellent verbal and written communication

Strong interpersonal skills
