Purpose of the Job:
The Support Assistant is responsible for delivering high-quality, detailed administrative support within set service level agreements (SLAs). The role involves routine, consistent work following established procedures and standards, and supports both internal team members (such as Life Specialists) and external intermediaries.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
Experience and Knowledge:
-
At least 2 years of administrative experience in the Financial Services or Life Assurance industry

Basic knowledge of Financial Services and Life Assurance operations
Computer Skills:

Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel, Outlook, and Internet)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Upload and follow up on administrative queries including:
-
Premiums
-
Change of beneficiary or broker
-
Debit orders
-
Letters of authority
-
Amendments and claims
-
Change of DOC or client details
-

Check and capture applications:
-
Within 4 hours of receipt
-
At a 95% accuracy level
-

Perform daily support tasks and monitor incomplete or outstanding service requests
-
Communicate missing or required documentation after requests are uploaded
-
Complete annual assessments on relevant systems
-
Provide administrative support to Life Specialists and intermediaries
-
Generate quotations and benefit statements for intermediaries
-
Assist in organizing broker workshops
-
Manage office stock of forms and brochures as needed

Take full ownership of service delivery standards and ensure they are met
