Parts Warehouse Assistant

Key Responsibilities
Inbound, Picking and Outbound Processing

Ensure accurate and timely processing of inbound/outbound shipments

Verify deliveries against purchase orders and inspect for damage or discrepancies
Material Handling
-
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and Reach Trucks to transport and store parts safely
Order Fulfilment Accuracy
-
Confirm item and quantity accuracy for all orders sent to the Workshop
System Accuracy and Scanning
-
Use the EWM system to scan and verify items, ensuring up-to-date and accurate records
Job Consolidation and Verification
-
Use CRM, SAP, and EWM systems to consolidate and verify job orders before dispatch
Planning Schedule Maintenance
-
Maintain planning schedules using designated systems to support workflow
Stock Control and Inventory Accuracy
-
Perform binning of parts, assist with regular stock counts, and update inventory via RF devices
Safety and Housekeeping Compliance
-
Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with 6S and safety standards
Compliance with Instructions
-
Carry out all lawful and reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors or management
Reporting and Escalation
-
Report issues affecting operations, stock discrepancies, damages, or safety risks
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12; post-matric qualification is advantageous
-
Prior experience in a warehouse or similar role
-
SAP-R3 and EWM knowledge is an advantage

Valid Reach Truck and Forklift licenses required

Experience using RF scanners/devices
-
Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

CRM experience is a plus
-
Experience in a remanufacturing environment is an added advantage
