Minimum Requirements:
Education:

Basic numeracy and literacy
Experience:
-
Appropriate cleaning experience in a healthcare environment
Skills and Competencies:
-
Physically fit (ability to lift heavy equipment)
-
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and night duty
-
Willingness to rotate duties
-
Ability to plan and organize cleaning schedules
-
Good communication skills
-
Adherence to safety and infection prevention standards
-
Knowledge of hospital waste and linen management
-
Understanding of catering, hygiene audits, and time management
-
Ability to work under pressure
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Perform cleaning in clinical and general areas (sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, polishing)
-
Deep clean toilets, isolation areas, ICU, and other critical spaces
-
Support with waste management and general housekeeping tasks
-
Assist with the care and control of linen
-
Serve meals to patients as required
-
Clean and properly store cleaning equipment
-
Correctly use cleaning agents and manage stock
