Technician (Hyundai Zambesi)

Job Description
The Technician will be responsible for repairing and servicing motor vehicles to Motus standards and franchise specifications. This includes diagnosing issues, ordering and fitting correct parts, maintaining workshop safety and cleanliness, and supporting apprentices.
Key Responsibilities

Repair and service petrol and diesel vehicles according to Motus and Hyundai specifications

Identify and order correct parts required for repairs and services

Report promptly to Foreman or Service Advisor about additional work needed and obtain authorization before proceeding

Record all oils and consumables used on job cards

Maintain vehicle cleanliness and protect vehicle interiors during servicing

Keep work bays clean, safe, and organized

Report faulty equipment promptly

Use special tools and equipment in accordance with safety regulations

Guide and mentor apprentices, sharing technical knowledge and monitoring their work

Adhere to all workshop policies and procedures
Requirements
-
Qualified petrol/diesel technician
-
Experience in vehicle repair and servicing (preferred)
-
Ability to work with technical information and follow safety standards

Strong communication skills for reporting and mentoring

Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
