Purpose of the Role:
The Stock Administrator will manage all administrative functions related to stock handling at the Commercial Cold Storage facility. This is a non-office-based role requiring hands-on coordination of stock receiving, issuing, reconciling, and quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving:

Match delivery notes to goods received (GRV) at the cold store (check cartons & weights)

Send invoices and PODs to creditors for payment processing
-
Assist with receiving documents for accurate processing
Issuing:
-
Resolve issues with delivery notes
-
Support with planning urgent/emergency orders
-
Perform spot checks to ensure correct weight-based pricing
-
Load and monitor weekly store pricing
Stock Reconciliation & Control:
-
Weekly recons of issued stock vs received goods
-
Maintain accurate weekly stock sheets
-
Monitor expiry dates, stock rotation, pallet usage

Investigate claims and manage slow-moving stock
-
Create delivery notes using Excel
Minimum Requirements:
-
Grade 12 (Matric) – essential

Minimum 5 years' experience in:
-
Stock administration
-
Dispatch preparation
-
Receiving and quality control
-
Using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

Virtual stock distribution
-
Desirable Skills & Attributes:

SAP experience – advantageous
-
Strong Excel proficiency

Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
