Job Purpose

To plan, implement, and maintain account plans that drive profitable sales, build customer loyalty, and ensure successful execution of district-level special events. The role supports the growth of brand presence through strong customer relationships and the effective coordination of all district event activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a district-level special events calendar based on the regional calendar.

  • Manage and maintain special events equipment at various sites.

  • Liaise with sports bodies and event organizers to maximize event partnerships and opportunities.

  • Oversee the execution of district-based events ensuring alignment with brand strategy.

  • Promote and ensure a safe working environment during event operations.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • Provide regular updates on event programs to the Regional Special Events Manager and District Management.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 or equivalent technical qualification (required).

  • Currently studying towards a Marketing or related qualification (preferred).

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in special events.

  • Proficient in computer usage (MS Office or equivalent).

  • Solid understanding of trade and event industry dynamics.

  • Strong planning and coordination skills.

  • Analytical thinking and computer literacy.

  • Energetic, outgoing, and highly committed personality.
