Job Purpose

As a Sales Executive, your mission is to achieve monthly vehicle sales targets by delivering outstanding customer service, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve set monthly sales targets.

  • Retain and grow the existing customer base through strategic engagement.

  • Manage customer expectations and ensure timely feedback.

  • Use your initiative to create opportunities and drive sales growth.

  • Identify new revenue streams in a competitive market.

  • Handle escalations professionally and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Negotiate and close sales effectively.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, customer behavior, and market conditions.

  • Accurately evaluate trade-in vehicles.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of Grade 12 (Matric).

  • At least 3 years of experience in vehicle sales.

  • Valid Code 8 Driver's Licence.

  • Computer literacy.

  • Demonstrated history of consistently meeting sales targets.


Skills and Attributes

  • Strong customer and sales management abilities.

  • Understanding of retail compliance is an advantage.

  • Multilingual abilities are beneficial.

  • Experience in cold calling and market development.

  • Familiarity with Higher Gear software and dealership procedures.

  • Solid knowledge of the motor industry and competitive landscape.

  • Understanding of economic and financial influences on the industry.

  • Comprehensive product knowledge is a strong advantage.

  • Excellent time management and self-motivation.

  • Effective negotiation, communication, and closing skills.

  • Professional appearance and behavior.

  • Strong administrative and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to read customer behavior and tailor solutions accordingly.

  • Networking and lead generation capabilities.
