About the Role

The Recruitment Administrator is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for Sorbet and its franchise partners. The ideal candidate will be passionate about finding top talent, ensuring smooth recruitment processes, and supporting strategic hiring needs while promoting Sorbet’s values and growth goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with franchise partners and managers to implement effective recruitment SOPs

  • Use innovative sourcing methods to attract quality candidates

  • Screen resumes, conduct assessments, and manage candidates throughout the hiring process

  • Maintain and update candidate databases, dashboards, and weekly reports (via Microsoft Teams)

  • Schedule and conduct assessments; provide feedback within 24 hours

  • Use live calendars for bookings and send email confirmations

  • Engage with schools and colleges for brand promotion and candidate sourcing

  • Verify qualifications, certificates, and compliance with industry regulations

  • Handle all recruitment-related administration with weekly reporting to Recruitment Manager

  • Manage upgrade requests and provide feedback within 72 hours

  • Conduct monthly stocktakes, update dashboards, and request orders (with approval)

  • Support recruitment strategy planning and implementation sessions

  • Meet budget expectations related to recruitment performance

  • Assist with general office administration and reporting

  • Travel as needed for recruitment or promotional activities

  • Understanding of beauty/hair industry terminology and processes

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines


Education & Experience

  • Matric / Grade 12 (Essential)

  • Computer proficiency (Essential)

  • Accredited qualification in Beauty or Hair (e.g. Somatology or Trade-Tested Hair Qualification)

  • 2–3 years’ experience in the industry (Advantageous)

  • Qualification in Recruitment/Human Resources (Advantageous)

  • Business or office administration, or data analyst experience (Highly advantageous)
