Role Overview:
Provide end-to-end telephonic and email support to brokers, handling policy queries, new business, amendments, renewals, and agri-policy-related administration. The role focuses on client service, policy retention, and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle broker requests and general insurance enquiries

Assist with new policies, maintenance, renewals, and agricultural policy aspects

Ensure resolution of insurance queries within required timeframes
-
Follow up on cancelled policies to retain business
-
Adjust premiums based on asset value changes
-
Manage client expectations and turnaround times
-
Comply with underwriting criteria and regional requirements
-
Recommend suitable products based on client needs
-
Provide backup during peak times or staff absences
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Matric / Grade 12 – Required
-
60 commercial lines FAIS credits – Required
-
Relevant insurance qualification (e.g. NQF Level 5) – Advantageous
Experience Required:

Minimum 3 years in short-term insurance (commercial lines and/or agricultural assets)

Strong understanding of policy administration and underwriting
