Provide excellent customer service in-store, ensure effective merchandising and price labelling, and maintain housekeeping standards in your area of responsibility.
Minimum Requirements

Grade 10 (NQF 3) with 1 year of work experience
OR
Grade 12 with no work experience -
Proficiency in English and the dominant local language

Valid South African ID or work permit

Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately

Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Ability to work under pressure
Key Performance Areas
1. Customer Service

Assist customers with product queries and selection

Handle and resolve customer complaints professionally
2. Merchandising Standards

Safely merchandise stock in bulk areas according to store layout and planograms

Maintain full merchandising standards in your assigned area
3. Housekeeping

Ensure aisles are clear and free of hazards

Merchandise new stock promptly upon receipt

Accurately label shelf prices

Complete store checklists for areas like canteen and toilet/showers during your shift
4. Safety (OHSA) Compliance

Wear safety gear and ensure a safe environment for customers and staff

Keep racking and bulk stock areas organized and hazard-free

Report safety concerns or stock issues to the Store Manager
5. Stock Loss Management

Report any damaged or defective stock in your area to the Store Manager
