Job Description:

The Camera Assistant is responsible for monitoring all areas of the SPAR property from the control room. The role ensures safety and security by observing activity, reporting incidents, and coordinating with security personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor all SPAR property areas via control room systems
Coordinate with security staff to ensure procedures are followed
Promptly report theft, suspicious activity, and breaches to management and police
Log and document all incidents in detail
Identify and escalate safety or security risks

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 certificate
Clean criminal record
Strong attention to detail and observation skills
Excellent communication skills
Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information
Ability to work independently without supervision
Calm and composed in emergencies
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
