Job Purpose:

The Advisor Consultant is responsible for quality assurance (QA) of advisor-submitted applications for compliance and completeness, ensuring all documentation is processed accurately and according to defined standards and checklists. The role requires attention to detail, high accuracy, effective communication, and the ability to manage application workflows independently, even under deadline pressure.


Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Matric (Grade 12)

Experience & Skills:

  • Familiarity with PPS IT systems and legacy platforms (beneficial)

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe

  • Exceptional accuracy in data entry and document validation

  • Sound written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and concentration

  • Conflict resolution skills and assertiveness under pressure

  • Basic customer service orientation and team collaboration

  • Soft skills: EQ, empathy, interpersonal sensitivity, and professional demeanor


Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Application Processing:

  • QA of all advisor applications, ensuring compliance using defined checklists

  • Validate data accuracy by comparing application details with quotes, documents, and system data

  • Apply necessary corrections and ensure proper proof of evidence (PoE) is captured

  • Capture application info into PPS systems once QA is complete

  • Track and record all communications and actions per application

  • Follow up on medical reports and outstanding requirements

  • Rename, scan, and upload documentation when not done by advisors

Advisor Support & Client Interaction:

  • Serve as a central point of contact for advisors regarding new business

  • Conduct virtual onboarding meetings with new advisors to explain submission processes

  • Communicate with clients, advisors, and coordinators to ensure a smooth application experience

  • Act as national virtual support for advisors

Administration & Coordination:

  • Update Excel production spreadsheet for tracking (until system is live)

  • Process doctor invoices and manage workflows for payments

  • Liaise with other internal teams to resolve application issues

  • Provide secondary support in arranging service appointments
