About the Role

Clicks Savannah is looking for a customer-focused Service Advisor to lead point-of-sale (POS) operations and deliver outstanding service at the checkout area. This role is ideal for a hands-on, results-driven individual with solid retail experience and a passion for people and processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all operational activities at the point of sale efficiently.

  • Ensure accurate and safe handling of stock and cash to minimise shrinkage.

  • Lead, train, and motivate shop assistants and cashiers to deliver excellent service.

  • Maintain proper staffing levels according to schedules, labour laws, and company policy.

  • Handle customer queries professionally and within company guidelines.

  • Promote the Clicks ClubCard and meet participation targets.

  • Enforce security and stock control procedures, including returns and cash handling.

  • Provide high-quality customer service and act as a brand ambassador.

  • Stay informed on products, promotions, and store events to advise customers effectively.


Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) – Essential

  • Relevant Retail or Business Management qualification (for external applicants) – Advantageous

  • 50% or higher in Maths and English (Grade 12) – Preferred

Experience:

  • Retail or FMCG experience

  • Supervisory or team leadership experience in a sales or service environment
