Job Description:
Senwes is looking for a Technology Support Technician (Level 1) to support and maintain the company’s infrastructure-level technology. This role involves installation, configuration, fault identification, analysis, and remediation of hardware and software issues that affect the availability of user-facing and backend systems.

This technician will also provide peer support and contribute to maintaining service governance and compliance through standard operating procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain infrastructure-related technology components

  • Analyse and resolve technology faults to ensure optimal system availability

  • Assist peers in delivering consistent and reliable support services

  • Document and review standards and procedures in line with enterprise IT policies

  • Coordinate and manage scheduled activities that meet business technology needs

  • Conduct ongoing maintenance and address faults with installed technology

  • Ensure compliance with service governance frameworks


Minimum Requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate (Matric)

  • Microsoft MCSE Training (preferred)

  • A+ and N+ qualifications with general application or technology support experience will be advantageous

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant IT support experience
