Job Purpose

The Driver (LMV) will be responsible for transporting goods and documents, performing vehicle checks and maintenance, and assisting with warehouse picking and packing tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Deliveries

Load and verify goods against Delivery Notes
Deliver goods in clean, saleable condition
Collect Proof of Delivery (POD) and COD payments
Submit PODs and COD monies to the supervisor

Returns

Collect goods as per Goods Return Vouchers (GRVs)
Return GRVs and items to warehouse supervisor

Vehicle & General Duties

Conduct daily/weekly vehicle checks
Keep vehicle clean and roadworthy
Maintain delivery schedules and logs
Ensure professional and courteous conduct
Assist in general warehouse tasks as directed

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric)
Valid Code 8 driver’s license (Code 10 is an advantage)
Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
Forklift license preferred
Previous driving and warehouse experience
Presentable and responsible
