Job Purpose

TWK Agri is looking for a Cashier to join their Trade Division in Ixopo, KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will handle sales transactions and provide excellent customer service.

---

Responsibilities

• Bag, box, or wrap merchandise and prepare it for shipment

• Compute and record transactions accurately

• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure accuracy

• Sort, count, and wrap notes and coins

• Identify or confirm prices of items using calculators, cash registers, or scanners

• Greet customers entering the store

• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change

• Maintain balance sheets of transactions and amounts

• Receive payments via cash or card

• Keep the checkout area clean and organised

• Stock shelves and label items with prices

• Assist with stock taking when required

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12

• Computer literate

• Previous experience as a cashier

• Ability to handle money responsibly

• Customer service skills

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
