About the Role
ANEW Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Creditors Clerk to manage the accounts payable function, ensure timely payments to suppliers, and maintain accurate financial records. The successful candidate will be based at the Support Office in Centurion, Gauteng.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 | National Certificate
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in accounts payable or as a Creditors Clerk
- Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, or Sage Evolution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-volume accounts payable environment
- Understanding of tax regulations (including VAT/GST)
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry
Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify supplier invoices
- Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes
- Ensure all invoices are paid within agreed payment terms
- Reconcile accounts payable and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with suppliers to handle payment queries
- Prepare payment runs and accounts payable reports
- Maintain and update supplier contact information
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies
