About the Programme
Old Mutual invites bright and ambitious young learners to join the Amathuba Learnership Programme 2025. This programme offers the opportunity to complete a Wealth Management NQF Level 4 qualification, accredited and FSP recognised. It provides valuable on-the-job working experience, with career paths leading to Underwriting, financial investment advisory, insurance brokerage, and more.
Job Description
- Mentorship: Learners will be allocated a mentor to guide them throughout the programme, ensuring their success.
- Work Experience: Exposure to 12 months of both workplace and classroom learning.
- Logbook: Learners will be required to maintain a logbook throughout the duration of the learnership.
- Financial Products & Legislation: Learners will gain exposure to various financial products, legislation, and business ethics.
- CSI Projects: Involvement in impactful Corporate Social Investment (CSI) projects.
Requirements
- South African citizen, aged 18-30.
- Currently unemployed and not studying towards another qualification.
- No prior participation in a Wealth Management NQF Level 4 learnership.
- Matric / NQF Level 4 equivalent with the following marks:
- English: 50% or higher
- Official second language: 50% or higher
- Pure Maths or Maths Literacy: 50% or higher
- Able to join the programme in May 2025.

- Shortlisted candidates will complete online assessments.
