Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Cato Ridge, KwaZulu-Natal


Purpose of the Job

To perform and manage all general administrative functions in the department to ensure smooth operations.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Administrative Functions:

    • Ensure familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring they are understood, trained on, and implemented correctly.
    • Utilize business systems effectively for operations.
    • Perform all administrative tasks, including maintaining and filing documentation.
    • Check invoice statuses on the system and notify warehouse staff of specific requirements.
    • Handle and escalate customer queries to the appropriate management.
    • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
    • Order and manage stationery supplies.
    • Capture data and generate operational documentation as required.
  2. Wage and Payroll Administration:

    • Perform wage-related administration tasks accurately and on time.
  3. Quality, Health, and Safety Compliance:

    • Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Ensure Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Non-Conformance Processes (NCPs), and Improvement Opportunities (IOs) are raised, addressed, and closed within the required timeframes.
    • Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and maintain safety standards.
    • Perform monthly safety checks and ensure a clean working environment.
  4. Operational Support:

    • Assist with operational functions as needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in computer systems and software.

  • Hard-working and organized.
  • Positive attitude and sense of urgency.
  • Reliable with attention to detail.
  • Strong administrative and communication skills.

Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Understanding of administrative procedures and SOPs.
  • Familiarity with Health and Safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 procedures and company value policies.
