Job Purpose:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing various administrative tasks within the Distribution Centre to ensure smooth operations and support for internal customers. This role involves handling daily paperwork, bank and petty cash management, stock processing, and providing general support across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain high standards for internal administration and document handling.
- Oversee bank and petty cash management.
- Process goods received vouchers and complete invoices.
- Stock Management:
- Assist internal customers with stock-related queries and process stock claims to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Risk Management:
- Minimize risk to the company by maintaining compliance and accuracy in all administrative tasks.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent client service, ensuring timely responses to queries.
- General Duties:
- Perform other administrative tasks as required to support department functions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Grade 12 or NQF4.
- Experience: Experience in the agriculture industry is beneficial.
- Skills: Strong numeracy, proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel, and high attention to detail.
