About the Learnership
iTOO is inviting applications from unemployed South African youth for its 2026 Learnership Programme. This 12-month programme is designed to provide learners with a nationally recognised Short-Term Insurance NQF Level 5 qualification while gaining valuable workplace experience in the insurance industry.
The programme combines structured classroom learning with practical on-the-job training, equipping learners with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to build a successful career in insurance.
Learnership Responsibilities
Successful learners will:
Process allocated work accurately and within required quality standards.
Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Respond professionally to customer and colleague queries.
Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Develop industry knowledge through workplace learning and formal training.
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve business objectives.
Maintain professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality at all times.
Complete all learnership assessments and workplace learning activities.
Perform additional duties that support business operations and learning objectives.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
Be a South African citizen by birth.
Be between 18 and 30 years old.
Have Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics.
Not be employed or studying after Matric.
Not have completed a previous learnership.
Have good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
No previous work experience is required.
Qualifications Accepted
Applicants must have completed at least one of the following:
Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Cybersecurity.
Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Digital Forensics.
Qualification in a related Information Technology field.
Drone Operations or related Drone Technology qualification.
Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Law.
Any other recognised post-Matric qualification.
Applicants with an incomplete tertiary qualification may also apply.
