Job Purpose
AFGRI is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Administration Clerk to join its Pietermaritzburg branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for switchboard duties and providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the branch.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
Answer and manage the branch switchboard professionally.
Receive, file, and maintain delivery notes and supporting documentation.
Assist with ad-hoc receiving duties when required.
Ensure all documents are processed accurately and in the correct system sequence.
Maintain proper filing and record-keeping systems.
Client Service
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Respond to and resolve client queries efficiently and professionally.
Provide administrative support to internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting and Stock Administration
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including:
Outstanding claims reports
Outstanding purchase orders reports
Negative on-hand stock reports
Other operational reports as required
Generate stock-taking reports and assist with quarterly stock counts.
Capture stock count sheets accurately on the system.
Generate variance reports and report discrepancies to management.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
Minimum of 1 year administration experience.
Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
