About the Position
Mediclinic Legae is seeking a professional and customer-focused Reception Administrator to assist patients with all aspects of admissions and discharges. The successful candidate will ensure administrative processes are completed accurately while preventing operational and financial risks and delivering exceptional patient service.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Admissions & Bookings
Ensure admissions, pre-admissions, and bookings are accurately captured and processed according to established procedures.
Verify patient information and ensure all required documentation is completed.
Coordinate patient admission requirements efficiently and professionally.
Financial Risk Management
Identify and prevent financial risks by adhering to company policies and procedures.
Verify patient financial information and outstanding balances where applicable.
Assist in managing blacklisted patient procedures and financial risk controls.
Discharge Administration
Ensure an effective and efficient discharge process in accordance with the Patient Administration Manual.
Complete all discharge-related documentation accurately and timeously.
Assist patients and families with discharge procedures and information.
Patient Confidentiality & Service
Maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times.
Provide professional and courteous assistance to patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals.
Ensure a positive patient experience through excellent customer service.
Minimum Requirements
Essential Education
Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
Desired Education
No additional qualification required.
Essential Experience
No previous experience required.
Desired Experience
Previous reception administration experience.
Experience within a private healthcare facility will be advantageous.
