Job Description:

• Planting of seeds and seedlings

• Harvesting fruits and vegetables

• Irrigation and application of fertilizer

• Weed, pest, and disease control

• Sampling plants for evaluation

• Carrying out farm tasks as directed by the Supervisor

• Protecting field trials from animal interference

• Using and maintaining tools and equipment

• Following Occupational Health and Safety procedures, including proper use of protective clothing

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 10

• Basic understanding of agricultural practices

• Basic knowledge of manual operation of farm equipment and machinery

• Good communication skills (written and verbal)

• Knowledge of health and safety procedures

• Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions

• Preference will be given to candidates living in or around Hluhluwe
