Job Purpose
To ensure the timely delivery of raw and packaging materials to production lines, manage stock movements efficiently, and assist the Stores Team in keeping accurate records — all while operating within safety and quality standards.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications

Grade 12 / Matric or NQF Level 4 Equivalent

Valid Forklift Counterbalance License
Experience
-
At least 2 years of forklift driving experience in a warehouse, operations, or stores environment

Basic computer literacy
Knowledge and Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and in a team

Willing to work shifts, overtime, and public holidays

Key Responsibilities
Material Handling
-
Deliver raw and packaging materials to production lines on time

Safely offload incoming stock
Inventory Management

Follow SSR book guidelines for stock rotation and control

Inspect materials on arrival and complete checklists
-
Track pallet quantities and update logs
Safety Compliance
-
Operate forklift per SOPs and safety regulations
-
Perform daily forklift checks and report issues
Documentation
-
Maintain accurate records of material movements
-
Fill out equipment usage logs and inspection forms
