An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified candidate to join a reputable organisation as a Payroll Administrator, based in Richmond, Auckland Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of payroll, related reporting, and administrative support, ensuring compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Capture and process payroll inputs including appointments, promotions, terminations, and deductions

  • Ensure lawful and accurate deductions and payments are made

  • Handle garnishee orders and update employee benefits

  • Complete and distribute UIF documentation

  • Distribute IRP5s for terminated employees

  • Manage departmental meetings, including minutes

  • Handle AX / D365 payroll tasks

  • Generate and distribute timesheets (DHR clock-in system)

  • Balance and reconcile medical aid, provident fund, and third-party schedules

  • Perform full payroll functions for smaller payroll entities

  • Run, balance, and reconcile ad hoc deduction schedules

  • Distribute month-end payroll reports

  • Resolve payroll-related queries (payslips, bank changes, leave, maternity, deductions, medical aid) in line with POPIA and company policy


Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 Qualification – Essential

  • Payroll certificate or diploma – Advantageous

Experience:

  • 2–3 years’ relevant payroll administration experience

  • Working experience on Sage 300 People Payroll SystemEssential

Knowledge:

  • Understanding and application of HR legislation and statutory requirements

  • Familiarity with organisational structures and internal processes

Remuneration:
Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
