Job Overview

AFGRI Retail is seeking a customer-focused Sales Clerk to support walk-in client sales and manage stock control activities at the Emalahleni branch. This role is essential for driving retail performance and ensuring operational efficiency.


Minimum Requirements

Education & Training:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year in a direct sales environment


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service to walk-in clients

  • Promote additional products to boost sales

  • Monitor and manage stock levels, including ordering from suppliers

  • Receive and verify stock against orders and ensure accurate pricing

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts

  • Assist in maintaining correct merchandising and stock displays

Technical Competencies:

  • Knowledge of AFGRI Retail’s product range

  • Computer literacy

  • Customer service best practices

  • Familiarity with retail policies and procedures
