Job Overview

AFGRI Retail is seeking a detail-oriented Administration Clerk to support its receiving department in Belfast. The role focuses on accurate stock processing, claims handling, and administrative coordination to ensure smooth warehouse and retail operations.


Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)

Experience:

  • At least 1 year of administration experience


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify stock against delivery notes

  • File delivery notes and assist with other receiving duties

  • Ensure document processing and system number sequences are accurate

  • Collect and match invoices with delivery notes and orders

  • Capture and process claims for damages, shortages, surpluses, or expired stock

  • Maintain effective client communication and resolve queries

  • Generate system reports (e.g., outstanding claims, POs, negative stock reports)

  • Assist with quarterly stock-takes and input count sheets into the system

  • Produce and report on stock variances

  • Liaise with suppliers to follow up on outstanding invoices or discrepancies

  • Verify that product codes, prices, and received stock match purchase orders

  • Perform and report daily cash-ups in line with company policy

  • Notify the Regional Banking Clerk of daily balances and discrepancies
