Main Purpose:

Provide administrative support to the Technical Department, specifically related to building and equipment maintenance per Mediclinic policies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer work orders and reporting.

  • Financial administration and reporting.

  • Build and maintain stakeholder relations and client services within the Technical Department.

  • General administration and filing.


Education & Experience:

  • Essential: Grade 12 or equivalent occupational certificate.

  • Desired: NQF5 Higher or Occupational Certificate in Bookkeeping/Finance.

  • Experience: None essential; 1-3 years in admin role in maintenance/technical/facilities or hospital environment desirable. Bookkeeping or finance experience advantageous.


Skills & Knowledge:

  • Telephone etiquette.

  • Written communication (memos, letters, emails, minutes).

  • Computer literacy (MS Office).

  • SAP familiarity.

  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act.

  • Understanding of technical terminology and financial management.
