Reporting To: Branch Manager
Purpose of the Role:
To support and manage the daily operations of the branch and warehouse through stock handling, order processing, customer service, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with receiving, quality checking, handling, and packing of stock

Assist with dispatching, ensuring quality and accuracy
-
Process internal sales orders (picking slips)
-
Pick correct items and quantities, signing off picking slips and stock bin cards
-
Deliver customer stock/orders and related paperwork to dispatch
-
Perform accurate cable cutting, if applicable
-
Maintain effective stock control and related administration
-
Attend to customers collecting stock/orders
-
Assist with loading and offloading of stock, ensuring correct placement in designated areas

Maintain a neat, clean, and safe working environment
-
Comply with all security regulations

Perform other duties as directed by the Branch or Stores Manager

Assist in stock taking activities
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
-
Matric / Equivalent (Compulsory)
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in a stores or warehouse environment (Advantageous)

Good product knowledge
-
Understanding of warehouse processes
-
Familiarity with safety standards and use of protective clothing
