Company Overview

Parts Incorporated Africa is looking for a Receiving Administrator to join its Bloemfontein branch. The purpose of this position is to manage the receipt of goods, match orders accurately, and maintain a well-organized filing system. The successful candidate will report directly to the relevant manager.


Position Overview

  • Process all returned parts for claims immediately according to work instructions

  • Maintain clear and traceable documentation

  • Communicate closely with the Technical Department when needed

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures

  • Report any discrepancies to the supervisor without delay


Specific Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure immediate processing of all parts returned for credit, per the prescribed procedures

  • Handle both internal and external queries related to returned parts

  • Verify that all returned parts are accompanied by the correct documentation

  • Follow the evaluation process for returned parts strictly

  • Liaise with the Technical Department regarding any unclear returns

  • Apply the “clean deck” concept to maintain order

  • Communicate with customers about returned-for-credit (RFC) parts

  • Return stock to inventory without delay

  • Assist with stocktake procedures

  • Support the area coordinator to ensure continuous workflow

  • Assist other departments when needed

  • Allocate one hour daily to dispose of faulty/unsellable imported goods

  • Assist with checking RFC goods when there are no items to bin


Qualifications and Experience

  • Essential: Grade 12 / Matric certificate

  • Preferred:

    • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role

    • Familiarity with ELCB system

    • Technical background

  • Strong customer service and communication experience

  • Must be honest, reliable, and trustworthy

  • Clear criminal record

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure

  • Strong sense of integrity and honesty
