Purpose of the Position
The successful candidate will assist with all administrative duties in the Service department.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and handle customer calls and inquiries professionally.
- Communicate with operational staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Look up part numbers for Bobcat & Sany to assist technicians with quotations.
- Compile and send quotations promptly.
- Follow up on quotations and understand why they may not convert to sales.
- Assist with orders that need amendments.
- Handle parts-related queries like stock shortages and alternative sourcing.
- Manage an organized document control and filing system for the workshop.
- Maintain good relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- General administrative tasks as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Autoline experience (advantageous)
- Strong communication skills — verbal and written
- Customer-focused with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- High attention to detail
- Reliable and accountable
- Own reliable transport is essential
