Job Description

Nexio is looking for a Service Desk Administrator to manage IT support operations, handle user requests, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and excellent communication.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Experience: At least 2 years in an IT service desk role
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS
    • ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
    • Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk)
    • Basic understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and cloud services
    • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, N+, ITIL, or Microsoft 365) are a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Desk Support:
    • First point of contact for IT support requests
    • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues
    • Escalate complex issues and track resolutions
  • User & System Administration:
    • Manage user accounts and system access
    • Assist with IT equipment setup and training
  • IT Service Management:
    • Monitor service desk performance and ensure SLA compliance
    • Maintain IT documentation and support guides
  • Incident & Problem Management:
    • Log and track incidents, identify recurring issues, and assist in system upgrades

Additional Information

  • Required to work shifts (24/7/365) and perform standby duties
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
