Job Description
Nexio is looking for a Service Desk Administrator to manage IT support operations, handle user requests, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and excellent communication.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Experience: At least 2 years in an IT service desk role
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS
- ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk)
- Basic understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and cloud services
- IT certifications (CompTIA A+, N+, ITIL, or Microsoft 365) are a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Service Desk Support:
- First point of contact for IT support requests
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues
- Escalate complex issues and track resolutions
- User & System Administration:
- Manage user accounts and system access
- Assist with IT equipment setup and training
- IT Service Management:
- Monitor service desk performance and ensure SLA compliance
- Maintain IT documentation and support guides
- Incident & Problem Management:
- Log and track incidents, identify recurring issues, and assist in system upgrades
Additional Information
- Required to work shifts (24/7/365) and perform standby duties
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
