Purpose of the Job:
The Sales Assistant will be responsible for helping customers select and purchase agricultural products while ensuring exceptional customer service and achieving sales goals. The role also involves managing stock levels and handling general administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Assistance: Assist clients with selecting agricultural products and provide excellent service.
- Sales Promotion: Promote and sell products at the branch, ensuring that sales targets are met.
- Stock Management: Order products, manage stock levels, and ensure sufficient stock during seasonal time frames.
- Stock Control: Continuously monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Product Display: Pack and manage product shelves to maintain an organized presentation.
- Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, including telephone queries.
- Administration: Perform general administrative duties, including stock orders and management.
- Safety and Security: Maintain safety and security measures within the store.
Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate (Matric).
- At least 1 year of relevant sales experience.
