Job Summary:
Santam’s Client Care Department is seeking a Client Care Administrator based in Bellville, Cape Town. The role involves providing administrative support to the Client Care Department in handling and resolving service complaints. Tasks include complaint logging, managing service level agreements, administrative duties, data gathering, and participation in ad-hoc projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complaint Handling: Receive and log complaints from the mailbox and telephone, investigate, and resolve service complaints.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative duties including record-keeping, clerical work, and fault logging.
- Client Communication: Handle overflow complaints, manage the complaints line, and resolve issues.
- Data Management: Prepare reports, conduct financial reconciliations, and compile documents.
- Project Participation: Assist in department projects and improvements.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with policies and legislation.
- Team Support: Provide support to the team and manage information flow.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Qualification in Administration or Customer Experience (advantageous)
- Experience:
- 3-5 years in administration
- 2-3 years in short-term insurance
- Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Advanced computer literacy
Knowledge and Skills:
- Language Skills: Proficient in English and Afrikaans
- Insurance Knowledge: Understanding of insurance processes and products
- Customer Service: Strong client service orientation with conflict resolution skills
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
