About the Position

Momentum Group is looking for a professional and organised Office Administrator to join its Group Digital and Technology team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to managers and team members while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office, coordinating workflows, managing financial administration, and maintaining excellent service standards.

Key Responsibilities

As an Office Administrator, you will:

  • Manage incoming queries, calls, and service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Process invoices, journals, and other financial transactions.

  • Reconcile supplier accounts and maintain accurate financial records.

  • Prepare reports on financial transactions and budgets.

  • Arrange domestic and international travel for team members.

  • Coordinate meetings, events, and functions, including catering and logistics.

  • Order and manage office supplies and equipment.

  • Maintain office databases, records, and filing systems.

  • Support the onboarding and induction of new employees.

  • Manage team diaries and schedules.

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries.

  • Keep accurate records of meetings, calls, and work completed.

  • Assist with work allocation within the team.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with company policies.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.

  • A qualification in Office Administration or Secretarial Studies.

  • At least 2–3 years of relevant administration experience.

  • Experience in the financial services industry will be an advantage.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge of business systems such as payment and travel booking systems.
