Main Purpose:

Provide administrative support to the technical department related to building and equipment maintenance, following Mediclinic policies and procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage work order administration and reporting

  • Handle financial administration and reporting

  • Build and maintain stakeholder and client relationships within the Technical Department

  • Perform general administration and filing


Education Requirements:

  • Essential: Grade 12 or equivalent occupational certificate

  • Desired: NQF5 Higher or Occupational Certificate in Bookkeeping/Finance


Experience:

  • Essential: None required

  • Desired: 1-3 years in administration, preferably in maintenance, technical environment, facilities management, or hospital environment; bookkeeping or finance experience is a plus


Skills and Knowledge:

  • Telephone etiquette

  • Written communication (memos, emails, letters, minutes)

  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)

  • SAP knowledge

  • Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Act

  • Familiarity with technical terminology

  • Basic financial management insight
