Parts Backorder Clerk (Global Grade 06)

Location: Middelburg, South Africa
Job Type: Full-Time


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and resolve backorder issues, reporting to the owner/creator of purchase orders

  • Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding backorders and queries

  • Distribute daily backorder analysis reports to internal users

  • Manage supplier feedback and lead-times efficiently

  • Maintain accurate and consistent reporting

  • Ensure proper housekeeping


Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric

  • Sound knowledge of computer systems

  • Knowledge of SAP Financials (advantageous)

  • Familiarity with Parts Systems (advantageous)

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Computer literacy

  • Strong planning, numeracy, and analytical skills

  • Good time management and understanding of the business model
